The place is reasonably clean by Chinese hostel standards which means NOT so clean by anyone else’s standards and I stayed here at the beginning and end of my Manchuria trip as it’s a short walk from where the 2 subway lines converge. The first time I had a decent room (included a locker) but the second time (just 1 night) I was put in a room where there was a guy in the next upper bunk smoking & talking on his cell phone half the night even though I requested on my Agoda booking (& got an Agoda message it was approved) for a non-smoking room!。
